AIS Phone Service Volunteers Needed
This is your opportunity to do 12th step work, “carrying the message” of Al-Anon/Alateen to potential newcomers, professionals, students and current members. Volunteers call the AIS voicemail on one pre-assigned day per week for a 3 to 6 month rotation. Calls are picked up once a day and returned within 24 hours. There are generally from 0 to 2 calls per day. The AIS voicemail is accessed remotely from the comfort of your home or mobile device. This is a very rewarding and important outreach opportunity, often the first contact newcomers have with the Al-Anon/Alateen program. New volunteers are needed on a regular basis. To volunteer or for additional information, please contact Al-Anon Information Service at: mailto:email@example.com
Lend your Talent and Time to AIS Al-anon Information Services
Did you know that AIS:

the website people would not be aware of Anniversaries and other events
throughout Westchester and Putnam counties. Nor would they know about
current updates for meetings.
- Maintains the phone line. Volunteers help and guide newcomers or
anyone else who needs information about Al-anon.
- Keeps the meeting list up to date.
- Provides information through their quarterly newsletter.
- Provides outreach to the community.
